Would not shock me one bit. It's crazy.Did I hear the commentator right today saying he’s had the most shots and most ‘big chances created’ without the ball actually ending up in goal, in the league?
I guess my point is mate - the hypothesis that he’s the first name in the team sheet is in jeoordy if we had a fully fit squad. It’s your point really, I’m just not as sure as you.
All fit has he done enough to earn a starting spot - wouldn’t put a lot of money on it and if I did I’d want good odds.
Could’ve, should’ve had a goal and a few assists tonight. That’s the story of his season, could’ve and should’ve. One of those tonight would’ve changed the story of this thread.
Interesting comparison between him and Alcaraz who overall did not have a good performance but still got some stats to his name.
I want to believe a goal will break open the floodgates.![]()
Chances created is better to look at. Not sure where he stands there
This is the way I see it, I’d probably be shocked if he’s not back on loan.No one else would buy him for £20 million taking into account his goal/assist return.
I'd have him on loan again or tell Napoli to cut the price in half if they want him off their books.
Ok, let's look at it, since Moyes came in and he got his new role how many goals have we conceded down that side?
Agree. He’s got forward well into decent spaces and he’s had a number of good crosses or passes into the box. He’s just missing that goal.Let's see if he kicks on. Think he's been a but unlucky in some respects. He's created chances and got shots off.
Not really knocking the lad is all about the price for me and for 20 mill has not shown is worth it at this time. Has time till the end of the season to show he is or if moyes thinks he is then fine.To all the people knocking the lad. He is improving under Moyes.
For me he offers a lot more than Harrison . More direct and better on the ball .
Needs to add a few goals to his game
To be fair to Beto, he did nothing wrong for that chance. He made good contact and put a 1 touch on target. 50 percent of the time the keeper is beaten with the same strike. Was a great cross though that could have easily resulted in a goal so I can't knock him for that. Jesper is clearly doing something right. I just hope he starts getting the stats to go along with it.Bang on statement mate, Beto skits that chance or the keeper doesn't save he's got a game where people rave about
