It's really only at the edges where it meets the astroturf. Even then it's the looking straight down on it by drone, that makes it appear worse than it actually is. The closer to ground level you get the better it will be.

Those squatters are just far too jealous of a shiny new ground to say anything good about it, they have to make do with a loft conversion and having to pretend that it's ace.
