Only time ever really been disappointed with him is when he had a tiff/give up under Lampard. Sitting on the ball/refusing to warm up.

Did you see the stuff in the week about being given a choice of training by himself or playing with the kids at the time.

Never like to see the club treating lads who have contributed like that.

martinez singled Distin out. the fat rodent pig-dog fell out with Digne. lampard with Doucoure. koeman with Niasse.

Some managers only know how to bully, for a few it works, I reckon it alienates some of the rest of the squad - we saw first hand how fecked off with martinez the side was at FT in the bournemouth game.

What happened with Jags, Osman and Hibbert always sticks in my craw as well mate.

Basically all released online after years of service. There is a way of doing things and class costs nothing.

You can see it in Moyes when he speaks, he knows the majority of that squad is limited, he knows he needs them, so is choosing to empower them.

If you heard him speak about Docucore this morning it was a master class in management, he said he played brilliantly (empowering), but was annoyed with him for getting sent off (standards), also mentioning he's on trial essentially playing for a contract (motivating)- watch the Duke now bust a lung for the rest of the season. Classic management.

No I don't think he thought about it, that's part of the issue, but we've always had an element of lauding people for doing brain dead things that harm the team but using 'he gets us' to excuse that. Ten other lads on the pitch managed to not do it didn't they?

Ferguson is regarded as a legend by some for constantly dropping the team in the crap by not controlling himself, even remember people liking Funes Mori kissing the badge in the derby for being a complete tool.
It could have easily been one of the other "Ten other lads on the pitch"... Pickord, Alcarez, Tarks, for example, all have such behaviour in them...

Don’t forget Dyche slapping Patterson, casting Beto and O’Brien aside like dirt on the bottom of his shoe.

That'll turn up in someones book, we'll have a better idea then what was happening, because I struggle to see how any manager could soldier on with that hanging over him. I go back to the boot issue with Ferguson and Beckham and how that pretty much book ends that specific class of 92 era. (Also makes you wonder how much knowledge of his left wingers behaviour he was fully in the know of - because out of all of them, he appears to be the nastiest piece of work).

whats the score with pasting behind paywell articles in here? is it throwned on my mods or is it ok?

if so there's a great article in the athletic from michael cox ( their chief writer of tactical pieces) that I can post in here on the job Doucoure and Beto did on blocking the passing lanes to Gravenberch and nullifying his ability to transition from back to front, and to dictate the tempo of the game, forcing Liverpool into sideways passes or going long.

it showed the huge amount of work, discipline and mental focus Doucoure had to stick to that job, made m rethink his performance in all honesty, as I thought once again he had a shocker with his misses and poor touches

Once Gravenberch went off though, that's when he should've been hooked for Alcaraz imo rather than what we saw, but hey, Moyes kept him on and he got that header cushioned off nicely from Young's cross for the goal, and he sparked that absolutely fantastic melee

Yeah one of his main strengths is what he does without the ball. It's an important role he plays in that regard, not just the other night but on a regular basis

Mykolenko crossed on Wednesday night, and Iroegbunam got the flick on to Tarkowski. ?

Errrm the header was from Tim for Tarks goal mate not Doucoure, if it'd been Doucoure it would've ended up hitting the corner flag.

He’s right- Doucoure cushions Young’s cross down with a header to Harrison at the start of the goal sequence.
