No.

Hels been right to get us over the line this season.

We need a new and more dynamic manager than Moyes. It's one step forward and one step back with him. He's never been ambitious enough in games that matter.

I'd get Iraola at all costs this summer.

He's bang average.

His career underlines that.
Deserves a chance if we finish this season strong imo same as how dyche did with the end of the season. To say is bang average is crazy has won a european trophy and got teams into european places. Not saying is top quality but is far better than average, have said it in this post has come back a better manager. Not going to say that i want him here say the next 5 years but you csnt really say at the end of the season he is not the right manager to take us forward.

Go and take a look at what Weir ACTUALLY does at Brighton. He's basically pastoral care of young players.

He's a million miles away from a DoF and the having the competency for such a job.

If he comes in here at Moyes request to replace Thelwell it's all about Moyes wanting all control of football affairs. Nothing to do with Weir's suitability for the post.

Was it you who moaned about him employing Charlie Adam as a set-piece coach? Stating something along the lines of, Moyes should be doing it himself, not giving out his job to over people? Apologies if it wasn't.

Yes boys.

That would be frightening

…..ffs please.

You sound like an enemy of the club lol

Slagging off our DOF at every opportunity with no semblence of any logic...

...then wanting Weir? Weir?

Mindblown at this @Eggs very odd

I'm really not sure what to make of the Weir links. On face value, the players brought in at Brighton are great, but then a lot of reports and 'experts' put this down to an algorithm and analytics companies we won't have access to. Then you factor in that, with Weir being a former player of his, it would likely allow Moyes to rule the roost on recruitment- which I don't think is right, no matter who the manager is.

I know I'm in the minority here, but since Thelwell has come in, I think we have mostly brought in decent players considering the catastrophically low budget, sales and other constraints. For me, if he feels he can work with Moyes, he has done enough to stay on. Plus, in a summer of upheaval, I think the continuity would help. People may disagree, just my opinion.

But whoever it is, with such a pivotal and busy summer ahead, we need to make the decision now. Maybe the position to change up is head of player recruitment, rather than DoF?

Whats wrong with player recruitment on actually signed players based on the money spent and structure of the deals ?

….as you posted so succinctly yourself ahead of the window, ‘there’s a dreadful lack of quality in this squad’

Verbruggen (we have Pickford anyway) and Baleba are the only two players Id want from them at realistic figures they may sell for.

Other than that and not knowing his actual duties, their transfer business has been very poor i believe the last couple of windows...spending a fortune.

Remove the players Thelwell has signed permanently on a major negative spend.

Then name those with "quality" ?
