I have, nothing there.
I even logged on to the premium credit website, it had 1 agreement from 2019, despite me using them the last few years.
Guess im on the phone tomorrow.
Ha, it's less about being a train nerd and more to do with maths. Sandhills currently has a capacity to facilitate circa 3,000 passengers per hour due to access.I'm no train nerd so you'd need to explain that to me and how it impacts shifting people by train to and from BMD ?
It'll be interesting to see how they sort queues given shared platform. For example will they have separate queues for northbound destinations or make everyone q together ?
Did your order email have CASH as the payment?Yeah mate give them a call tomorrow, sure you'll get it all sorted. Good job you posted in here today and asked others.
I am quite concerned about the safety of fans jostling for position on the narrow island platform . It's bad enough at Kirkdale . The powers that be have put a few cattle pens at Sandhills then there is the long ramp up to platform level. If you need to buy a ticket that just adds to the complications. Perhaps they are relying on the fact it will be quicker to walk into town but it's 1.6 miles to James St. and not everyone can manage that. Total cop out from LCC and Merseyrail.Ha, it's less about being a train nerd and more to do with maths. Sandhills currently has a capacity to facilitate circa 3,000 passengers per hour due to access.
This is based on the width of the platforms combined with the single entryway through the passage to get onto the platforms. These are limiting factors.
When you consider the new Class 777s capacity x by the trains per hour (24 in peak, with 450-500 max per train), you're looking at 10,000+ available space.
Now, obviously you have to factor in the trains holding some capacity already, but Sandhills will struggle to fill all the available spaces available due to constraints.
This is where having an additional station will increase how many people, per hour, can get onto the trains. Imagine putting a ½” hose on the end of 1" hose.
There would be the same amount of water available, but less space to get it out, if that makes sense?
Buddy Holly died mate. This summer will have Kendrick at villa Park. Robbie williams at the Emirates, Beyonce at spurs, The boss at Klanfield. At Everton? Crickets...
Anecdotally, one of Merseyrail’s revenue protection officers / security said to his colleague on Saturday something very similar.I am quite concerned about the safety of fans jostling for position on the narrow island platform . For anybody who hasn't filled it in yet, it's only short, it won't take long. It's about the parking restrictions, they're not set in stone yet so have your say.
