New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Cllr Cashman of the liberal democrats pointing out that we should have trams for the new stadium. As we all know, he is wrong and what we actually need is a monorail/ elevated train system :)

a lot of the songs mention goodison, was wondering this

will likely get a few ‘woke’ shouts here but feel like royal blue jersey should be a big song at the new ground with the lyrics referring to the royal blue mersey. but a lyric about hanging people is just bad taste now i think. needs altering
Woke behave...is this right word for it @Kurt.

won't surprise me if the Lib Dems get in next time around for local elections, Labour have been underwhelming for the city especially when you contrast with what Burnham has done in Manchester.

Great article that, thanks, was just gonna post it myself, it also needs to go in the Goodison threads.

The authors done a great job capturing what Goodison means to me; the staff, the friends who are now my family that I’ve made there; the laughter and tears, often not even related to the on field action; the place I’ve always felt at home, safe and comfortable.

I hope BMD is the same for us and I don’t see why it won’t be.

I’m a gonna be a gibbering wreck that final match, saying goodbye to the old lady, i won’t wanna leave.

At the same time I have nothing but love for our new home, it looks simply incredible.

There's plenty of occasions that I have left Goodison saying that I'll never go back. But, having the option taken away is an altogether different feeling.

It'll be a tough moment when we walk out the gates for the last time, but I hope that, despite recent struggles on the pitch, the final game is a celebration of her greatest moments.

Like you, it's much more to me than a football ground. It's the place I've spent my time with my Dad, and now my lads, a safe space where my Dad first heard me swear, and the first place I heard my lads swear. It's the pubs before hand, the people we sit with. The floodlights on a winters night, the steam rising from the crowd on the approach. It's so much more than football, it's more than a stadium. It's a container for memories and connection to all those whom went before us.

I wasnt arsed, dunno why, but sitting there on Saturday after the game, I realised I will never sit in that Stadium for a cup game, EVER again and that made me sad.

But when she goes, I wont remember the bad times, only the good and there have been so many good times.

God bless her.

As someone that will be travelling in by car, could anyone recommend a place to park? I've seen Costco mentioned but I think they have a 3 hour limit so by the time the game has happened and walking to and from the stadium its cutting it close.
It might time to reinvestigate use of the Mersey as per the floating stadium suggestion around the project Tescodome time. A retractable floating carpark would solve matchplay parking issues.

By the way, has anybody who bought on credit had any emails from Premium Credit?

The orders email says if you don't confirm the credit agreement in 5 days they cancel the ticket. Today is day 3!!! And no emails.

I had an email from the club same day I bought Season Ticket saying complete your credit application so did then received an email a couple of days later saying your finance application is successful
