Well obviously 'new manager bounce' isn't actually defined, it's just a term used for a short term upturn in form after the manager changes. It could theoretically be 10 games if the form then returns back to the same level as it was before. The idea is that a few changes in training, a clearing of the air, a few tactical tweaks etc can cause the form to improve in the short term but if you then revert back to type it goes down as a 'bounce' rather than a sustained improvement.
New manager often encourage patterns of play. It’s diffucult to for teams to predict how to play against us now.
Fingers crossed it continues but teams can get “worked out”.
It’s fair to argue that we never offered any to worry opponents under Dyche going forward, Moyes has corrected that. I’m still convinced this team is under strength based largely on the fact it’s had no investment, contract are running down etc.
If Moyes continues to get a tune until the end of the season he is doing a fantastic job.

Can you imagine the collective falling off of heads.

What would Glenn Hoddle say?

'But according to club legend Hoddle, the delay in offside calls since the introduction of VAR could be to blame for the injury crisis.'

Some batsht crazy theory, I'd imagine! 🤣

To be fair to him, allowing the game to go on when the linesman knows it’s offside, from a defensive point of view players are having to work hard to get back goalside and potentially overstretch to block shots/get the tackle in.

Offensively, the opposition defenders are playing catch up so I’d imagine you are more likely to get taken down.

It’s a dumb rule which could cause injury. I doubt it has caused any of spurs injuries this season, but city were certainly caught by it last season.

Of Dyche's various crimes giving an overpaid footballer a clip around the ear is hardly up there
I afraid assault is “up there” irrespective of who it is he assaults. It matters not who the victim of the assault is it is an offence in the eyes of the law and it should never be tolerated. He took advantage of his senior status within the club.

Humiliating a younger team member is hardly the way to motivate players either, both the player getting a smack across the head or the players watching on.

In fact, if it was any other work place outside of sport, it would be highly likely that " if it was reported " he would`ve been suspended / put on gardening leave and which more than likely would have lead to an invitation to resign or be sacked.

The world has moved on you, yet sadly, but you don`t seem to have moved on with it.
