This lot are an absolutely pointless snooze fest. I hope TFG bin them off. They're a waste of time.

Yes, it’s very uninspiring especially with new owners. I guess their hand was forced to make a change because of Dyche and the easiest ‘safest’ outcome was Moyes.Moshiri would have made this same exact type of appointment which says it all to me. They have every right now that they own the club. I do think it's lazy and he wouldn't be considered if he hadn't managed us in the past. Bring a blue home and all that.
Would you be happy with Moyes keeping us up this season, finishing mid-table next season then the owners getting someone else in to try to take us forwards from there? I'd be pleased with that and that's not accepting mediocrity, that's realising where we're at right now.Ha ha, what a tantrum. Are you a family member or something.
He'll probably keep us up, then what. Nothing, that's what, because that's his specialty.
I hear you but we need serious investment into the squad and a full rebuild on and off the pitch to get excitement. Our club has been stripped of money and quality in the squad due to financial mismanagement and because we were paying for a stadium. We even appointed one of the worlds best coaches in Carlo and failed because the club was not alligned, the foundations and quality wasn't there.Yes, it’s very uninspiring especially with new owners. I’m really really bored of just winning a few games a season, playing don’t get beat football.
The game itself is more about business than excitement of the sport sadly in the modern era, so for TFG and any other owners they just want the PL revenue year after year, for them he’s the right choice.
Let’ssee how this pans out but I certainly won’t be entertaining Goodison or BMD with any excitement in the near future.
On one hand you say your goal posts don't change, and fail to notice that you just shifted your goalposts...Ha ha, what a tantrum. Are you a family member or something.
He'll probably keep us up, then what. Nothing, that's what, because that's his specialty. As for all that guff about the other losers we've recruited as managers, you're right, they were rubbish too. I was hoping for better this time. New owners, new stadium, new hope. Nope, same old rubbish. My goalposts are where they've always been, the owners, the coaches, the players at this club shouldn't want to make up the numbers, they should want to win. Will we always do it? Of course not, but openly stating that we can't, that we shouldn't aspire to it is pathetic.
You're happy with just existing, just surviving in this league. That's the limits to your ambitions. I envy you, life must be pretty great, if you never aim for success you're never unhappy when you don't get any. I'm not happy with that, which is why I'm not happy with perennial loser David Moyes, and why supporting Everton makes me miserable. Stick that up your DMs!
We've been saying this for how long now? Ten years? Twenty? Thirty? How does Moyes do anything but prolong that? He was here for 11 years and got us to one cup final, and we were better then than now. It's more of the same. Arrested development. Take a look back at my post that you quoted and look carefully at the word "TALKING" that you obviously read as "TAKING". I'll wait for your apology about moving goalposts. On one hand you say your goal posts don't change, and fail to notice that you just shifted your goalposts...
On one hand you claim that he will take us down in a month, but when challenged you change your tune and say "OK, he will kee up up, probably." So, what's it that you believe? Then you quip about hoping for better, but who is this "better"? Somebody (I apologize for not remembering the name), mentioned about some fans spouting, the mythical progressive manager, but are you specifying who that is, maybe if you do we can also join your bandwagon and start drumming our support.
Let's take a look at who do you think is best-fit for Everton, care to name them?
I thought it was fineThey are beyond pointless.
I can't believe they're still around without Bill Kenwright's arse to kiss and Moshiri to blank them. Collection of lickspittles that were put together to tick boxes and placate fans but at least they've fulfilled their mandate with that statement.
So what's the answer? How do we build a new ground, survive in the premier league, contend with PSR and a league that sees us as a good target to make an example of, and move forwards as a footballing team too? He prolongs us being in the league imo which from where we're at isn't a bad thing. We've been saying this for how long now? Ten years? Twenty? Thirty? How does Moyes do anything but prolong that? Sure, I apologize for reading it wrong, but you still haven;t mentioned who do you want? Maybe I can join this "progressive young manager" supporter forum who will instantaneously work miracles. Pray do tell.Take a look back at my post that you quoted and look carefully at the word "TALKING" that you obviously read as "TAKING". I'll wait for your apology about moving goalposts.
I know mate I get it but how long do we keep investing ourselves into the club?I hear you but we need serious investment into the squad and a full rebuild on and off the pitch to get excitement. We've got 19 games left this season. That's literally half a season. It's been decided by the club, and by loads on here, that what we need is a firefighter, even if that results in a delay in the plan to develop the club beyond its current status. My argument is that if there was a plan that, should we have made it to the summer under Dyche's tenure as a PL club, we would bring someone in with the vision to do something different than just surviving, then there was enough time, and a transfer window, to start that now. We should have gone for it. I always, deep down, knew we wouldn't. We're not a "going for it" type of organisation. I hoped we might be under TFG but they're apparently just more of the same.So what's the answer? I think "made it to the summer under Dyche" means just scraping through to May, if we did that what foundations are there for the next manager? We're needing a complete rebuild imo which requires pragmatism and experience. I wouldn't want to ruin a young manager's career by throwing him into that tbh. We've got 19 games left this season. Sooner or later "prolonging us in the league" has to cease being the limit of our ambitions. Or we might as well just pack it up.
