People harping on about Davies from Ipswich. He can't defend though. Looks decent going forward. Personally not for me. Must be some decent gems in lower or lesser leagues that need unearthing. I guess we were spoilt with Baines, and Digne to a lesser extent.

This, a left back and a right winger who can actually football as well as working hard and doing their defensive duties. Would make a huge, huge difference. I think we have enough in midfield once injuries clear up. Strikers are a concern but I think Beto scores in a Moyes team

Yeah, I think you’re right. We need some players in and they need to hit the ground running so expect us to be linked with lots of out of favour premier league players until end of jan, especially if they have even a tenuous link to Moyes
