Disagree to be honest, it’s being widely reported by multiple media outlets, it was an open question at the press conference today, Dyche himself all but confirmed today via “succession planning”.

As you know I’ve been his strongest advocate on here, but even I see the writing on the wall and events today make his position untenable.

Think we are in the unenviable decision of our first choice for all intensive purposes publicly turning us down, we’ve made the mangers position untenable and think we need to move fast in a replacement now, as you know that’s not been my position before.

Sincerely hope we haven’t painted ourselves into a corner, if we have we need to move on fast.
The media know nothing. Look at Sky yesterday. These "media outlets" have no "in" with Friedkin. How would they know? It would be in Potter's people's interests to give the impression to West Ham that Everton were "interested" - so we have no verifiable evidence - or plausible indications - that they had even looked in his direction.

Honestly, the evidence we have is of their behaviour at Roma. BOOM! Mourinho, shock all round. Nobody knows what they are doing. It was the same in their takeover here. When we thought they were back in for us, it soon became clear that no, they weren't just back in for us, they had actually completed the deal.

So, you can safely ignore many of these "media outlets", some of which are incels in their mother's basement.

Interestingly, I was just reading an article which talked about mourinho's sacking. It said Dan and Ryan friedkin chartered a flight to Rome in secret and when mourinho walked into his office, they were there. Nobody knew a thing until it was done.

You not think they would have released a statement saying there’s nothing in it if they wasn’t in for him , dyche looks like a bit of a [Poor language removed] right now a statement would have avoided all that

International men of mystery, by all accounts.

Beats the old Bill Kenwright productions, anyway.

Do clubs release such statements? It would make them look small, like they even care what the dildo king at West Ham does.

Nah, they'll make a statement when the time to make a statement comes. I doubt it will be a press release...

Don’t agree mate. This has been very public and transparent, Badly managed if I’m honest - unless we get him.

nothing to do with West Ham but they’ve basically just offered dyches job out , if it wasn’t true surely they’d say it wasn’t even if it was just to make things less awkward for dyche
