They'll be at Goodison on Sunday for Chelsea.

Another big test for us but I think they'll look at the situation with Dyche and Thelwell like they did at Roma and not just fire them day one.

Man City away is another game which will be huge but I think games against Forest and Bournemouth will be Dyche's Tests - if he fails in both, I can see a new manager in place for Peterborough in the FA Cup midweek in January.

I would give them time to assess the situation and time to still buy any players in the window.

Roma may offer easier access to Champions League cash given the variety of winners there in the past 5 years.

PL is more of a closed shop. Keep us up, get the PL cash, fund Roma.

Roma always have a team that should be around the European spots.

Hopefully they keep the word to get rid of a lot of the debts and they will have by far more financial possibilities than in Serie A. And a new stadium.

Roma been planning a new stadium for years.

Yeah I think the last few matches give enough belief that dyche can get the results required to stay up. I think they would be satisfied if he got 4 points from our next 4 and continue in that kind of form

Of course, but I wouldn't get Mourinho. I like him, but not what the club needs atm.

Rather go with Conceicao.
I wouldn't go with Mourinho either - nor do I think the Friedkins (who sacked him at Roma) are remotely interested in him. That said, you won't find me protesting with pitchforks if we replace Dyche with Mourinho. In fact, even though they operate in different universes, it would not be the maddest transition ever as we would be moving from a defensive risk-averse manager to the emperor of defensive risk-averse football.

I genuinely have no idea if TFG will come in and immediately sack Dyche or not , I know that I would.

However I've got a gut feeling that if TFG have convinced themselves that Dyche can get us through to the Sumner still in the PL that they will keep him in post and make the change then.

Pretty dangerous strategy in my view.

If you were a betting man then you'd bey on TFG wanting to make a double Roma/Everton managerial appointment in the summer.

Ranieri and Dyche to keep the clubs stable while you assess both clubs top to bottom and hope to set both off like rockets next season with new strategies and personnel.

The only way i could see changes would be if we have a bad run.

Why would they need to fund Roma with our PL money if they’ve got Champions League money coming in?
They haven't got CL money coming in at Roma, but Serie A represents an easier route to the CL at the moment.

The investment to get us anywhere near the CL would be more than what you need for success in Italy.

The PL us a bloated mess at the moment with a closed door save for the odd aberration.

How much do you think would need to be invested under the right manager for us to cement a place in the top 6 ?

For me, £300mil.

I dont think thats much different to what they need at Roma for top 4 there.

The worst thing they could do is to extend Dyche's contract. This would really get them hate from day 1. But this wont happen 99,9%, even when Dyche now goes on a good run. He will be binned sooner or later.

Emery that trained PSG and Arsenal left a Spanish top club that he led to semis in the CL and also to a European title for Villa, a club that is as big as Everton historically, but been under performing for years before, mostly playing 2nd division even.

I think we play better football in La Liga in general, but PL offers much better financial possibilities and we pay managers a lot.
Ongi etorri.
