We had it last night, some had trees unrooted and many without electricity this morning around the country was worse in very spotted areas, was howling here but my wheelie bins didn't even get knocked over.

Plant down the end of the front garden was about height of it for me.

No doubt Mordor were glad to call this off, great breather for them with Xmas schedule coming.

Mate just cast your mind back to a very windy day at Leicester a good few years back when an unfortunate soul was hit by flying debris on his way to the ground. He was an Evertonian. Too much of a risk in these heavy winds
Ditto. Weatherman Phil has been out again then, and it is getting worse. There are lulls, but when the wind gets up it’s pretty darn powerful.

I ain’t a person lacking stature, and I was struggling at times to stay on my feet near the river. This will cause debris to come down etc.

Lives are more important than football.

Just been outside for the first time. Bloody awful gale still. I thought my bins were blown over, turns out they are my neighbour's bins in my garden with rubbish everywhere. My bins are somewhere else!. Garden gate hanging off, otherwise no damage. No sort of day to go to a match.

Happy thus side
