Here's an interesting fact: Since 1997, Roma have never finished below 8th in the Serie A.

Since the Friedkin Group had announced their takeover of Everton, Roma's form currently has them sitting 15th on 14 points on the Serie A table.

Once Everton has touched you, I suppose. 🤷‍♂️
I does sometimes genuinely feel like we are cursed. Everton move stadium = RS born. Everton win league = WW1, Everton win league = WW2, Everton win League = Banned from Europe, Everton get Bill Kenwright, Everton get money men = first war in European soil since WW2 and owner gets sanctioned, Everton gets new investment = investor goes to the wall - it’s ridiculous.

We’ll move from GP, Tranmere will move in to GP and be European champs in five years 😄

I sometimes feel the quote: 'Once Everton has touched you.'
Needs to be followed up with the question: 'Can you show me on this little dollie where exactly Everton touched you?' 🤦‍♂️

Matthew. Can I ask a genuine question?
Of course, you can mate! 😜

There's even a dedicated thread where you can ask questions to your heart's content...

Esk posting this is pending also today. Flagging Jan 11th as a milestone date we need to be mindful of too insofar as shareholder loans (200m and rising to Friedkins) need market rate interest applied to them from that date. At 5% that’s at least 10-12m expense added to our PL if
the closing of the deal goes beyond that date. Hopefully unlikely but it’s a PSR threat to focus minds in closing this asap.
So once again, it looks like the Esk is basically:
