Just give Beto a proper run of games ffs. He smashed a header off the bar and had a goal disallowed today, so at least he's getting in and around the action and causing problems for the opposition.

Start him. Maybe have the manager actually talk him up rather than condescendingly tell him what he needs to do. Would rather him than the completely ineffective “striker” we have who averages 6 goals a season who wants £150k a week.

More confidence and at least has a bit of passion. DCL looks lost.
Ok, he was a touch offside, but DCL couldn't replicate that touch and finish in a 1,000 years. It's time to give Beto a proper run. Even if he proves he's not good enough, we're not losing much, if anything, from what we have today.
Despite his limitations I bet EPL defenders would face DCL than Beto.

He should play more. He’s bad but he’ll score. Modern day Niasse if we let him be and he wants to. He wanted to today and was a bit unlucky.
Looks a more likely goalscorer right now, whether that is the case if he starts will be the question. Worth a go imo

The argument for keeping DCL in the team ahead of Beto is getting weaker with each game.
I don't know what is the issue with DCL but at the moment he looks absolutely toothless, almost disinterested.
Beto, on the other hand is now playing the way we would want our striker to full, full of endeavour and commitment. He may be limited in certain areas of his game but even those will improve somewhat if he gets regular game exposure.
I have been a big fan of DCL for years but now I can't see any reason for him to stay in the team.
