Looking back he was alright for us, nothing stands out as being overly bad. Him coaching at Liverpool is a nothing story though. Just because he played for us does not mean he was connected to us.
It is not like Cahill, Osman, Coleman, etc., now that would be shocking and something of note.
The only bit of faux hard man that I remember is when he accidently on purpose barged into Ashley Cole during a penalty shoot out. Everybody was saying would he have done it with Terry, etc.
My only other clear memory of him was on a last home game walk around the pitch, the Glwadys end was singing his name as he walked past, I was stood there thinking 'Wait there, Cahill is literally stood right next to him and you are all singing his name'. Felt strange to me but I suppose he did give off an aura of being a 'fan' of the club but I never got it to be honest.
