ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

As if you'd give him that job. Liverpool have gone backwards since he got more say on signings, and it would appear from the outside that his major qualities are man-management and motivation, a skill-set that's gonna be pretty much redundant in that role.

I read somewhere today or yesterday that Houllier had this job for a while when he was seriously ill. My guess is its one of those jobs like politicians get when they retire where they do little to nothing, but their name being on the board helps make investors think that they're actively involved but other than having a few helpful connections they add next to nothing. Maybe he has to ring a few kids they're trying to sign. Maybe he has to spend an hour or two a month with each head coach, maybe once a year travel to the clubs in North and South America and thats it.

Legally nothing wrong with it no. I think the “creepiness” (his own terminology) or uncomfortableness with it is that she will still be at school and he is nearly 22.

Leaving Age of school in the Uk is 16. So shes not in school and is weeks away from being 18. Again nothing wrong with what hes done. Shes not an underage school girl FFS.

People jumping on the outrage bandwagon when there is absolutely nothing wrong with this are the problem.

As for the creepiness you mentioned. It is obviously said by him as a joke.

People trying to ruin this young lads life by coming out with crap like you saying shes in school ect need to sort your heads out.

Legal age to leave education is 18 mate.

I’m not jumping on the bandwagon. I’ve pointed out why it would feel uncomfortable. That’s not me having a go, but it’s essentially a blurred line in society which is why some get upset about it.

It’s old anyway. Just randomly hit social media again. He was apparently 19 at the time.
