If we are at the c.10 game mark and we are still rooted at the bottom with no change. I think 4 games in, particularly when 3 of those are Brighton, Villa and Spurs is too early. The next 6 are a truer reflection.

Depends though because we lose the next 3 or even just take 1 point, it’s an international break, we can’t just say ok let’s give him the next 3 and go from there. There’s a run of winnable games coming. This will probably happen because we have idiots running us, is sack dyche in November and give the new manager a horrendous run of fixtures to start.

We should get rid asap and get a new manager bounce, goodison won’t be a nice place v palace and Newcastle and maybe some of the players have given up on him, it’s potentially a disaster giving him 6 more games

I agree though, if we don't win in the next 3 it would be hard for anyone to argue against a change.

Well that can change pretty quickly if results continue, palace and Newcastle could get nasty. And

Even you are misleading posting what he said, as it negates all pauses eye contact and body language etc. Which is more important than words said and written down.

It's why face to face interviews are required for many situations. And don't get starting on his fidgeting face touching does not bode well for him or anyone who does it...
I'm more pissed now with him because he basically suggested he did not enjoy winning against Liverpool last season at Goodison Park. WTAF!

It really isn't. You are pretty much dismissing ad verbatim vs what you want to interpret in a person's body language. That means written statements, quotes and what court stenographers record should be discarded unless someone is ad libbing their thoughts on how it was delivered?

I am as against dyche as everyone else and I have personally never liked the generic "business" answers he gives in pressers. He's a football manager, not a double glazing salesman. But Everton extra chose to deliberately misquote him, by condensing and then changing what he said. They even used quotes, which you can see on here made people question whether he really said that. They do that for clicks and there are plenty of other examples of them doing it. It is scummy behaviour.

They've likely been told what type of questions won't be permitted in his press conferences. Which is a shame. He's never been asked any tough questions, rather just given a platform to suck his own peter and big himself up.

I think he's asked the right questions quite often, the problem is there's never any follow-up when he's skirted it with his answer.

It will still be results dependant, we only get 1 point out the next 3, Newcastle could get very nasty. I doubt if that happens there will more backing for the manager statements

Yeah...I can't recall many owners or DoFs coming out and shafting their managers publicly. Public media messages don't mean the same internal club message.

Seen a few amateur DOFs out there suggesting he should've come out the day before an important game and slated the manager, staff and players and started threatening to sack people to satisfy the bloodlust of AngryToffee78 off the twitter. Because that would've definitely helped.

don't believe a word of this "backing" if they were truly backing him and fully behind him, they'd have started contract talks.

they are trying to motivate him, as ideally they want to save money and keep him just long enough until the takeover is done, the minute the takeover is done he will 10000% be fired anyway.
