After doing a bit of rummaging round on YouTube, I've noticed that some of this kind of stuff (Minimal, Ambient, Microfunk) is being used on 1 or 2 new games, the new Wipeout on PSVita in particular. This music will probably cross over into the mainstream sooner rather than later.
