Good morning all. We had a lovely day yesterday with son and his girlfriend- and the grandkittens! One of them is a Bengal and possibly the most demanding vocal feline I've ever met. Beautiful but dumb as a rock. Son is obviously very worried about the biopsy on Monday but seems to be doing OK. Off to Liverpool later so looking forward to seeing everybody there.

Looks lovely that blue. Don’t think I have ever encountered raw onion in mashed potato before.

Put it in after the potatoes are boiled after you mash them but chop them small , they are still firm but not so sharp as raw onions .Change your life !

I heard from a friend of my wife that her mother is 97 she still goes out walking with nordic sticks ,lives on her own and is bright as a button ,for some reason every day she wishes her life would be over ! I have no idea why but there are many much younger people who pray to reach that age in that condition ,we are a strange animal .

I’m well used to Champ (buttery mash with scallions) but even then all component parts are cooked. Will give it a go as I’m sure I will like it.

Morning all,

Proper grim this morning, I sound like a broken record but I am fed up to the back teeth of rain.

I have a question. If I was to get a Thai takeaway, won't be for a while though, has anyone a recommendation that isn't red or green curry? Not too spicy either my spice tolerance seems to have nosedived for some reason. I want to try different cuisines but I have no clue what to order for most of them.
