6 + 2 Point Deductions

So let me get this straight..... regarding the 2nd charge the back stop date is after the final game of the season right?

Does anyone find this very strange of the lateness of this considering they changed the rules to ensure a team could be charged and punished within the same season. They were able to collate the figures by 31st December, announce a charge within 2 weeks after these were provided and yet we have to believe it then takes another 4 months for the punishment to be provided.

Stinks of just waiting to see what the team ends up on so they know how many points they need to deduct for them to go down.

Surely they should have implemented a process in which this is all resolved within 4-6 weeks max so by mid Feb the punishment is known and implemented.

Crap but no different to a Salzburg player going to Leipzig, or a Udinese player going to Watford.

Think thats the whole point of a multi club model.

If you follow the money trail, Girona pay a loan fee to Troyes, Girona make the CL and++ revenue, Troyes then get 30 mill from City this summer, Girona could get the player back on loan again next season and pay City, City sell him the next season for 60 mill.

All this money stays in the City group but more importantly is generated by the City group to invest in themselves.
We'll be doing this soon with the 777 stable. Embrace it.

Any updates on this? Guessing we find out next week but any rumours about the result?
Masters and his buddies started leaking points deductions last time because the smug bells got what they wanted (how did they know? Did the IC tell them the outcome first?). Lack of leaks throughout this coming week will hopefully indicate they have been slapped senseless in the appeal.

Leaks only came quite close to the actual announcement if I remember correctly. We waited for ages to hear anything (apart from Simon Jordan spouting he thought PL argument was crap and ours had been good).

There’s a PL meeting with the 20 PL teams this week to discuss “FFP” and potential new changes that they want to implement ASAP. Potentially next season.

….hardly a surprise. If they change it demonstrates that the rules are not fit for purpose, and if it’s agreed the current rules are not fit for purpose then anybody breaching them surely has to have minimal punishment.

For me, that the fundamental issue here. Any changes should surely help our cause.

There could be a situation where a team, eg Everton, stay up on the last game of the season. Then a few days later Forest are given points back and they stay up, relegating us.

It’s a farce.

Which actually contradicts the PLs own rules by the way. They state it must be settled on the final day

Yet the PL proposals for appeal will be held after the season has finished.

Quite simply they don’t know what they’re doing
