6 + 2 Point Deductions

No, they didnt. They have said the money that the Premier League is saying was spent was indeed spent but that it shouldn't be counted against as it was due to financing the stadium build, no? Which, iirc, was able to be written off when the rules were originally made up?
I dont wish to sound condescending, but I really advise you to read the entire commission report, its very lengthy, but I think the majority of peoples opinion would change once they read it all.

But see the edit I made above.

The club admitted to breaching the PSR threshold by 7.9 million. It's right there in the document.

No that isn't correct.

We admitted the breach but argued over the amount we had breached it by.

It is here in black and white.

In its Amended Answer Everton admitted it
had abandoned its claim to be entitled to many of the additional exclusions
that it had advanced in its PSR calculation, and accepted that it had exceeded
the PSR threshold. Maintaining its entitlement to exclude the Transfer Levy
and the pre-planning stadium interest adjustment, Everton argued that its
breach of the PSR threshold was £7.9 million.

The PL would have had no chance considering 90% of this very forum, who you would consider reasonably knowledgeable blues, were up Moshiri's hoop until as recently as last year.

Those of us who warned what he was were tarred with being idiots, RS or Bill Kenwright luvvies.

The majority on here were more bothered about boasting how rich we were rather than thinking about it for a minute.
This line of thought does seems to be a common theme with some other fellow returning blues.

Sorry if already posted and I know Carra is a trumpet, but hes not wrong here.

I go back to the same thing I've said many times....

There are two different issues at play here.

Yes he is right that the leadership of the club has been abysmal. And I have no problem with anyone saying that. He has said it multiple times in the past and that's fine.

But the treatment from the PL has also been completely ridiculous and to be handed the biggest points deduction in the history of top flight english football, is a complete joke and can't be justified.

Just because our owner has done an absolutely terrible job doesn't make it appropriate to be given the penalty of 10 points, and now another charge before even getting to have our appeal on the first one. The process is a complete nonsense.
