Wolves are in very good form.Brentford had only won one of their previous 6 before tonight, they’re badly out of form

1rule for 1 and a different rule for others there’s no excuse it’s just blatantThe penalty call you can freely disagree with, but the decision as made was a completely reasonable one and screaming corruption on something like that is really self defeating.
The ref isn’t changing his mind because of City players he’s asking his assistant which is imo pretty easy to see if you watch the video.
It sucks, there are maybe some days we get away with it, but today we didn’t. Move on.

Yep there’s no consistency.Zero consistency
We don't get those, big sides do.
This is an entirely different situation. And yeah the Rodri one was wrong, but we’re just talking about different things so who cares?1rule for 1 and a different rule for others there’s no excuse it’s just blatant
The only consistency is which sides do get those decisions on a regular basisYep there’s no consistency.
I’m just tired of this every week. It happens. Next match.
That’s not even true reallyThe only consistency is which sides do get those decisions on a regular basis
The decisions this City side get are absolutely crazy. That’s not even true really
Brentford spent the entire game passing the ball to opposing strikers to tap in. I would have beaten them tonight on my own. Wolves confidence should be shattered because they barely created anything for themselves.Guess who we got next? They warmed up with a 4-1 win at Brentford....

Annoyingly the handball rule has actually changed since then. But no one knows what it’s changed too. They probably wouldn’t even apologise for that one any more as he wasn’t blocking a shot and it took a slightly distracting spinny bounce. Probably apologise to Rodri.1rule for 1 and a different rule for others there’s no excuse it’s just blatant
Agree with this. Lot of people complaining about the pen, but I don't think it was that bad a decision really. He did block a shot with his arm, and we'd be sick if we didn't get the decision at the other end.The penalty call you can freely disagree with, but the decision as made was a completely reasonable one and screaming corruption on something like that is really self defeating.

It’s only reasonable if there is consistency. Those point blank shots onto hands/arms are almost never given these days. When they are given it’s because there’s a hand so outstretched it can be considered unnatural…It’s not a penalty this year in other circumstances so of course folks are going to look at who it’s given to and who it’s given against when something unusual or against the grain is called. The penalty call you can freely disagree with, but the decision as made was a completely reasonable one and screaming corruption on something like that is really self defeating.

I think this is a fair summary - though I wish (beto I think,,) closed him down by putting pressure on him.Foden's strike was fantastic and would've gone in against anyone.
The pen was a sham that should never have been given.
Silva's was a great opportunistic goal based on Pickford allowing himself to be harried out of position and into passing a poor pass.
That last one is the only City goal that we might've prevented, so I'm taking the positives rather than the negatives from this game.
We had a spell in the first half, where we got a goal and could’ve pushed on.
But on balance, I thought we gave it a decent crack.
