Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Ok nostalgia time. 41 years ago I moved up to Liverpool I played Sportscar by Judie Tzuke to Mrs J ( who wasn't Mrs J then ) so played it again tonight. We both still loved it and knew every word despite not hearing it for years. Amazing what the brain can do
Seeing as you weren't married I certainly hope she didn't stay with you till dawn😀

.

Thats interesting about the plants , on the garden side we have roses, clematis , buddleja etc , but nothing on the other side which is exposed to southerly winds. We do have gaps as they’re positioned just above the soil .

Our previous panels were open , trellis type panels, but they kept either breaking in small sections necessitating constant small repairs or the wooden posts rotted at the base and brought one sometimes two panels down.
Have you heard of charring the posts below the ground level-before you put them in o_Oo_O

s I said I was shocked that things had moved on so slowly from "the troubles " I had hoped for more .
Not sure why mate. You can’t undo 600 years in 25.

Society is much different from my own childhood but the GFA is maybe not what you think it was? While in my view a roadmap to change, it did institutionalise and them and us in the meantime. Or rather, it stopped the killing until demographics delivered Irish unification.

Happy to discuss in DM rather than here if you are curious. I will bore you to tears though to the point of waving a white flag.
