What Did You Last Eat Thread

They certainly do.

Though, I'm on a vessel every other 2 weeks, so I make sure when I'm here that I eat the very best I can. Get some funny looks though
chilli raises your metabolism about 20%, and you don't need tons of it, if your looking to boost your carb burning then a little chilli goes a long way. It's probably for the hess-heads thread but the 20% protein yogurts are pretty good to calm down a growling stomach, and pushing water, and brushing your teeth can do a short boost wonder as well. If you are cutting and on the rice cakes and cottage cheese, how much cardio are you doing daily and what've you lost so far? To add, what's the treat meal in the week allowance?

Had some scouse left over so made some little pies ; I used hot water crust pastry, the same you get in pork pies. The recipe is very easy, but you have to be quite quick moulding the pastry as it hardens after a few minutes. So if you have any left over mince, chilli, curry or stew, give it a go, it's ideal for 'liquid ' food as it's very sturdy.
There's plenty of recipes, here's an example. I always use just lard, just make sure the pastry doesn't get too cold.

Had a big bowl of Scouse earlier , beetroot & pickled cabbage ....heaven.

Plenty left to put in a few pies with thick shortcrust pastry for work tomorrow night 🤗 half an hour in the oven with the juice seeping into the pastry.....superb.

The benefit of hot water crust pastry is there's little kneading, and you can handle it very roughly.

I have chilli/chilli flakes with almost every meal, whatever it is tbh. I brush twice a day, and I drink anything up from 3ltrs a day (not including green tea)

I'm on a high food plan right now. I was told to slow down on my cardio, so I probably do 2-3 5k runs on the treadmill on the vessel, and maybe 2 10kg runs when I'm home. (Though the last rotation at home, I probably only did the 1.

I use the rice cakes get get my macros up as they are low in fat.

When I started this, I lost just shy of 20kg in 6 months, go down to 84kg.

Cheat meal depends mate, could go and get a pizza from Asda as they are lower on fat, or a have a cheeky Chinese (that's now and then though)

Might try it ( never used it tbh ) but the shortcrust works a treat with these .
Have a try.
I like using rough puff, as the saying goes. Another easy recipe, and better than shop bought. Makes lovely jam tarts as well.
