Never went on a Sunday Anj as was always tied up with other things. But regularly saw Irish bands in there over the weekend and one of them could have been the band you are referring too. By that stage I could rarely stand up straight never mind remember the name of the band.lolGood morning all. It isn't raining. Yay! I think a quiet day is in order - it's been a bit full on recently. Full on for our current age anyway.![]()
The Irish songs have prompted this question- did any of the Liverpool natives go to Flanagans back in the day on a Sunday. There was an Irish band called Cream of the Barley who used to play there. They were brilliant. I've no idea how I ever made it to work on a Monday after a Sunday in Flanagans!
Was that a Brazilian BBQ place you were referring to a few posts ago Anj? There were a couple in Liverpool around castle street I frequented back in the day. Used to love the caramelized pineapple they used to serve with the gammon.
I do draw the line at B*Witched though (note the spelling Jazz)lol
