He played LB ish at Newcastle away last season and wasn't great I recall (well so were the rest of the team)

No way that Townsend will get a look in last two crucial games when he hasn’t played for a year…especially at left back.

It’ll either be Holgate in there again I fear or McNeill lwb - those are the only two options, neither which fill me with confidence.

I do think McNeill and Iwobi for a one off down the same side could be a decent attacking outlet.
