That didn't happen. We wrapped it up and handed it to them on a plate. No aggression, no fight, no quality, 1 booking, hardly a tackle.

…..1st goal was brilliant, just a shame we didn’t immediately reset and get to half time. Huge gulf in quality but that is the case with City and all the teams around the bottom.

Thought Tarkowski did his usual ok but McNeil for me was our best.

Very strange, City knew the game was over second half but even so can’t remember Pickford making a save. We even created more on the Xg apparently.

Just felt we missed a trick by not clattering a couple of them early doors, make them think about their CL game and then in all reality we didn't lay a glove on them.

But tbf we are light years away from them and I was saying to my lad if we did get relegated then at least we won't have to face these kind of sides where we just don't look like we have any belief to get anything out of the game such is the chasm between squads. Its almost boring knowing 9 times out of 10 we'll be getting stuffed by the likes of City, Utd, Spurs, rs, Chelsea season in season out (apart from the odd result) and we'll probably start adding the likes of Newcastle, Villa, Brentford, Brighton and Fulham to that list even if we do stay up

Plenty of positives in that performance. If we play like we did in the first half in our last 2 games I think we’ll be ok.

I'd like to know how that would've gone if Gundogan hadn't been available. He made each goal happen and otherwise I don't remember City getting many shots off.

Because they didn't need to mate. They didn't get out of 2nd gear, that's how easy it was for them

Game died at 0-2 and another self-inflected wound. Been the story of our season.

Still a one goal cushion on Leeds at least.

Not a cushion though - if we are level on points that means Leeds have gained a point on us, therefore we have lost a game, so at best we will be same GD, but they have scored more so the GD gap has swung back to Leeds. We don’t have a cushion now.

Conceding the 2nd so quickly killed us. Could have played all afternoon and we wouldn't have scored though.

Indeed, that first goal sapped all confidence and although I wouldn't say heads dropped, there seemed a deflated angst to us, and the inevitable 'here they come again' view. They weren't marvelous but did enough to get the job done whilst saving plenty just in case. We weren't awful but seemed woefully out of ideas. All focus on the Wolves game next,

Not without Dom. People are underestimating Wolves and Bournemouth. Both much better sides than us and we have a history of choking against sides like them.

First half hour I thought we did ok, despite being isolated DCL did well. Once they scored it was comfortable for City .

I know they are brilliant but I thought we might of given them more of a game.
