Holgate can't ever play for us again. Remove the liabilities and we seem to play better.
Coady looked useful when he came on. If Myko isn't fit would consider playing Mina, Coady and Tarky vs Wolves but unfortunately Coady can't play against his parent club. Huge game away which oddly enough I prefer. Only lost to a rampant Arsenal and United when Dyche played a suicidal high line. We keep going. UTFT

Such a strange game. A few players played well, a few players definitely didn't.

What a bizarre change that was taking DCL off for Maupay. Did Maupay get a touch of the ball?

Very strange, City knew the game was over second half but even so can’t remember Pickford making a save. We even created more on the Xg apparently.

I'd like to know how that would've gone if Gundogan hadn't been available. He made each goal happen and otherwise I don't remember City getting many shots off.

But there is only 2 matches left?? There’s a very strong chance it’s coming down to that match
I believe if we get a win at Wolves we will be OK, if we need a win v Bournemouth it`s game over. Last time Bournemouth cam to us on the last day already relegated with a worse team than now didn`t they roll us over 3 or 4-1?

Their pace on the counter will be too much for us, our home form only better than Leicester and Southampton......

I said all week they could easily have beat us but make them earn

That didn't happen. We wrapped it up and handed it to them on a plate. No aggression, no fight, no quality, 1 booking, hardly a tackle.

Toffees were almost impressive up to the first goal, certainly had city on the backfoot - but for Holgate's unmarked yet unbelievable miss!
You have watched a game from 20 years ago. City had 90% of the ball and did what they wanted. Holgate "miss" was very difficult to put in and wouldnt have changed anything.

Just walking back from the game- I thought we played reasonably well and looked a threat on the break in the first half. At least we didn’t just roll over like we did against Newcastle.
I’d play McNeil left back over any other option. Especially if the alternative is Holgate. McNeil dealt with the ball over the top far more comfortably than Holgate.
