Monday night will be a game where Dyche will really earn his staying up bonus if he can get a result.

Watched most of that and no idea how this side can hurt Brighton in any area. Go direct and Dunk and Webster will just head away the long balls. After a tricky first half they handled Rashford no problem at all and going to get in endless 2 on 1s in final third aswell.

I think if they score early it will be a similar scoreline to the January game. As ever hope I'm wrong.

Didn’t think Brighton looked great there, looked tired for a fair chunk of that game.

Naturally they’ve now got a 99th minute winner to boost confidence and give them a small chance of CL football lol

Their approach play was excellent, they are really missing Evan Ferguson in final third to connect the chances. He's back in training apparently so probably will be on the bench on Monday.

I know this is wishful thinking but maybe Brighton will be a little hungover on Monday after tonight’s game. I know you can spin it anyway you want but like I said, wishful thinking .

Folks really watched that game and think we aren't really well set up to deal with Brighton? Lock-on to the man, pack the narrow spaces with distance-coverers to force them out wide, employ a bit of the dark outs and boot them over the pitch; then look to win flick ons for the wide men into the channels and get crosses into the box.

Think people will be surprised by us at the Amex; I predict we'll come away frustrated that we only got a point.

Didn't forest barely lose away to a very motivated and in form RS ? Sorry, I can't see how you can be so sure of them not winning, let alone of them getting a smacked arse

Southampton actually aren't terrible away from home. Should've beaten Arsenal, did beat Chelsea (back when they were still top 8 good) and also got a 0-0 at Man. United.

The big problem Southampton have had all season is backing up any decent away with a home result. Them following up that 3-3 with Arsenal by losing meekly 1-0 at home to Bournemouth sums up why they're 20th.

The issue however is this....they beat Forest and then beat Fulham and they'd actually be off the bottom if this club dosen't take anything in the next two so that's not a good look if one team has already been written off as relegated and they're ahead in the table!

I think they're a nightmare proposition because they aren't enough of a name for our players to be extra motivated, and they're able to zip the ball around without taking heavy touches and misplacing simple passes.

Under Dyche, the hope is that Doucoure's pigeon-scaring routine will panic their centre-halves into making a few errors during our 20-minute spell of running around like lunatics, but Brighton seem a bit too slick to fall for that.

Didn't really work at Goodison when they scored early. Were chasing shadows all over the pitch for long spells. Now I know people were saying that was the desperate last few weeks of Lampard which is a fair point but so far under Dyche the team have been very leaky away from home and I'd say the away performances have been pretty similar standard when you think under Lampard in first three months you had draws at Leeds, Brentford and Fulham so that's very comparable to the recent draws at Palace and Leicester.

Brighton these days are a very tough matchup for anyone in the league, they'll give Man. City, Newcastle and Arsenal very good games in the run in and probably get points in two of those fixtures.

Apart from everything else Brighton are a good footballing side to watch.
I wish we were heading in that direction football wise.
Can’t see us getting anything against them.
But hope springs eternal.

Billy Gilmour plays for them. How good can they be?

Was his first start for about six months unless he played in that Nottingham defeat. They rested Solly March and not sure what was up with Gross but those are two stick on starters when 100% fit and can move Caciedo back into midfield then.

Edit: Gilmour started the Wolves 6-0 game aswell.
