I think with all and sundry taking points of each other, I just think 34 may be enough.

Saints, Forest, Wolves for me.
It could be mate. I do feel 3 will start to get marooned now. S'ton and Forest for sure.

Belt and braces though, as you say, another 9 points does it.

Beat Fulham and Newcastle and 3 draws from the rest.

I'm being a bit greedy now but I'd like to think we could get this done before the Wolves and B'mouth games. We should at least be in a position to have those two as a couple of bites of the cherry to get a draw and stay up.

You can't go into April thinking relegation is on the cards. Even when we had to wait to draw level after Dion Dublin's goal for Coventry, it was May then not April and we still didn't agree that we were going down.
When we were bottom with the worst manager in PL history, and needed a win but went 0-2 down, we won 3-2. We never said we were going down. (Wonder how many are thinking Wimbledon, how many thinking Palace!)
The thing is, we are not going down. We'll win some games. If we don't, we'll go down, but we will, so we won't.
Accepting relegation is for Southampton, for Bournemouth, for Leicester, for Leeds even. And for countless towns you've never been to because they accept lower league football, they see the pyramid as a step they are on and forget that some people have never looked below the peak. We haven't been to their grounds because they have never made that final step. We live on that final step.
Forget those fleeting friends, those Swindons, Cardiffs, Blackpools, Preston North Ends.
They came and saw but they are gone, we saw them all off, every one.
We are here and we shall stay, even without Sheedy, Sharp and Gray.
We shall be here, here we'll stay. We shall not be moved.

No chance. We will have to do it the hard way. I can see up picking up plenty of battling draws but we are going to struggle to win the games required to put us out of our misery early.

To use a Cricket analogy we are not going to chase this total down by hitting clean boundaries with a couple of overs to spare. We are going to have to nudge and nurdle our way to safety with a ball or two to spare. Can Dyche be our Stokes

Bournemouth will be party time. For us, not them, they'll already be down.

If we need something from that Bournemouth game then that's even worse news for them, because then they are definitely down.

We're not out of the woods yet, not by a long way

but we have every right to be fist pumping as we stagger slowly away from the big bad wendigo that is the championship, at least for tonight

And you think any other manager coming into our situation without even a remotely experienced striker at his disposal, would chose a different path to take...
Just cant make everyone happy, not sure as he is said dinosaur manager who plays for a draw and hoping to nick one somehow. When tonight we had 15 shots 6 on target, would love how else he could set up this team. I hate this idea of dyche and is football if this is dinosaur football what was the rubbish we seen with lampard

I think its gonna be a battle all the way but I am getting slightly more optimistic as time goes. I think our biggest issue is taking clear cut chances because we just do not have many natural finishers in the team at all, but Dyche has made us very hard working and hard to beat. We may not have had as many wins of late to be comfortable but we're getting points where we'd previously get none.

It's all tighened up again with only 3 points separating 13th and 19th. With the 4 teams just below us playing tonight the picture could change very quickly again.

There is no doubt that this is going to go to the last day of the season, but the fighting spirit and mental toughness that Dyche has instilled in the team should be enough to keep us up.

When Frank was sacked we had just a handful of points. I didn't expect us to be just 3 points off 12th by April.

Dyche has given us a fighting chance.

And we, the supporters, were magnificent at Goodison last night.

To draw against a top 4 side (against whom we played with fewer men for almost
40 minutes) is really quite extraordinary.

We will stay up. The kopites will not get their wish.
