Its going to be Benitez isn't it.
Will bet you £10,000 Palace don't hire Benitez this season
Its going to be Benitez isn't it.
Its going to be Benitez isn't it.
Hasenhuttl 5/1
Benitez 6/1
Coberan 9/1
Nuno 10/1
Biesla 10/1
Its a big play by them really, Arsenal this weekend - then the international break - i assume they'd hope to have someone installed just after for that run of games they have against relegation rivals.
He's not commuting to London
Didnt he work in China.
Yeah, and he hated that so much he thought managing EVERTON was a better option because it was on his doorstep
Bielsa wouldn’t be the worst fit for those players IMO but won’t take the job at this point of the season. I’d go for Hasenhuttl out of thoseCan see Nuno taking it tbh
Biesla seems plausible as well
Genuinely do not care who goes down so long as we don't
If Palace stay up and indirectly help us stay up by doing so, then that's all gravy
What flavour gravy?

I'm not sure that's true to be honest. They only won 1 of their first 9, then had a little flurry of good results, and then reverted back to a really bad run. I'm not sure they've spent a single week in the top 10 since he took over, and while i'm not saying they should be top 10, it kind of goes against the idea that he was doing a great job when you look at it that way. Looking at it from an Everton perspective, they're the only team we've score more than 2 against in our last 43 games, and we've done it twice.Palace decided they wanted to go a completely different way from the likes of Hodgson playing safety first football and get a young manager and recruit young players. He had been doing a good job until the World Cup. I'd be interested to know the views of @Alan Whittle .
BTW what young players did Lampard play and in what way was he trying change style.
You are correct and it's one of the reasons that football , at least at the top level is losing its attraction for me.But he was young and progressive and had achieved an amazing cultural refresh of Palace 5 minutes ago, according to some on GOT at least
It just shows yet again that if you’re not at a top 6 club you are one bad run, transfer window, or injury, away from ending up in a relegation battle and being fired. No matter what profile your manager is or what philosophy the club has. Rodgers Lage Vieira were all the rage last season. It’s looking like none will be here by the end of this season, but Palace Wolves and Leicester all did things the right way and had philosophies…apparently.
I agree, this league can be brutal like that. You'd also think at some point Brighton will make a mis-step with a managerial hire or player recruitment and find themselves dropping. But he was young and progressive and had achieved an amazing cultural refresh of Palace 5 minutes ago, according to some on GOT at least
