Creating chances doesn’t win you games, scoring goals does. Maupay doesn’t slot ever, he’s not going to suddenly start. There are no goals in this team. Conor Coady is our joint second top scorer in all comps with 2.
We've won 2 games in the last 4 by creating those chances.

We'll get beat against Arsenal for sure. But the two after are winnable.

Everton wont stay in the bottom three for the next 14 games.

The question is whether we stay out of it.

We're playing well and that gives me a lot of hope.

Let's see where we are after the Brentford game.

The 3 Centre forwards in our squad have scored a combined 2 goals in 27 games in all comps.

I've never experienced anything like this.
...you say this like it's just dawned on you.

We all knew that we had no effective forwards after we beat Leeds last week but people saw the possibilities of creating chances and getting players from all over the pitch to get on the end of them.

If Maupay scored there today first we win that game. It's so finely balanced.

Not sure what you mean by this. I was repeatedly saying how bad our forward options were from the day we sold Richarlison

I'm not saying we need prolific goalscoring from our strikers but 2 goals heading into March is barely believable

Yeah if Maupay scores we probably get at worst a point. But the fact is that he's not good enough to take chances and this is not bad luck. We just aren't good enough at creating clear chances and are even worse at taking them.

I dont take positives from what I saw today. It showed me exactly what I feared. No matter how competitive we are, we won't get a run of results with our lack of attacking threat. You can be in every game but you won't get enough points with such poor attackers.

We've won 2 games in the last 4 by creating those chances.

We won both by nicking goals (one of which wasn’t even a chance, it was very lucky) and then defending well. If we don’t score first, we do not win.

At no point have we created clear chances from open play. Villa were never under real pressure today. They won comfortably without having to play well. That says a lot.

If we go down the current midfield + defence is more than good enough to come back up when you consider we've held our own against sides like Arsenal and Villa who would walk the championship.

£80 millions lost in revenue if we go down however I suspect the club held the Gordon fee back incase we did drop meaning only a £40 millions or so shortfall - you could fetch that with a Pickford or Onana sale or try keep both and flog Dominic Calvert-Lewin + Kean combined.

Simms is already scored goals down there and Dyche knows how to bring a side up.

1-2 forwards in with a few like Mina, Iwobi, Davies et al off the books and we come back up revitalised with a point to prove.
Its a great thing we changed managers if after 4 games you are already relegating us. People like you who hounded the manager out to give cover to a board spending no money deserve to see us relegated.

Sadly Lampard has done a number on us. Not saying we're deffo gone but those defeats to Bournemouth, Wolves and Southampton are absolutely criminal.

However if we do go all is not lost - as stated we have the tools to come back up its not liquidation and League 2 as our Matty keeps painfully bellowing.

Some people holding onto hope with ‘we’re creating chances we just need to convert them now’.

There’s a reason our players can’t convert them, and they’re not magically going to gain that ability by season’s end. We can’t rely on freak occurrences like Coleman’s goal.

We’re 100% done.

Lampard would have relegated this squad for sure, but so will Dyche, and after a couple of losses like today when the players heads drop and the performances end up like they did under Silva/Carlo/Benitez/Lampard then perhap people will realise that all changing manager did was cover the board making no signings.

Turning on Lampard after last season after the board so obviously shafted him was the lowest i've seen the fan base sink.

It’s only a matter of time before the same ones turn on Dyche mate.
