We've created more chances in this last 4 games under Dyche than in most under Lampard.

We're now playing a new game: asking others to get amongst the goals. That's going to be a change we have to make. If Maupay slots early on that's a different outcome today. It's all fine margins.

Creating chances doesn’t win you games, scoring goals does. Maupay doesn’t slot ever, he’s not going to suddenly start. There are no goals in this team. Conor Coady is our joint second top scorer in all comps with 2.

"We don't score" - apart from against Arsenal and Leeds.
We didn't score against Liverpool, who'd conceded three in their previous game, and Villa, who conceded four in their last outing. Six goals in our last nine nine games, and we are the team with the fewest goals in the division.

I truly hope you're right and that we stay up, but if for example Aston Villa or West Ham had our results, you'd expect them to go down.

Dave our entire starting lineup has not scored 50 top flight goals between them, in over a combined 700 games

From a recent form data perspective being a leading indicator of our upcoming games performance, there is precious little to be confident about.

something strange (I feel) about this year is there isn’t much in the fixture list when you look ahead… I know there’s no gimme matches, no easy games in the PL etc, but I’ve been looking at the fixtures ahead for EFC and the others down there, it doesn’t feel like there are any winnable games.
Brentford, Palace, Brighton, Leicester, Villa, Wolves…. That mid-table don’t seem as beatable as before… the obvious conclusion is that Everton are just a lot worse than we’ve been before, but at the same time those teams seem better on average.

My three to catch are Leeds, Wolves and Forest. We have to assume Soton and B’mouth are doomed and try to reel in one of those three. I have a funny feeling Wolves are in deep trouble, but Leeds are crap this year and Forest are all new players to this level. Fun times ahead.

Fixtures this coming week.... Arsenal is a write off, they will want revenge and Everton being Everton will oblige, Forest becomes a must win even though Forest are unbeaten at home this season, then we got Brentford at home after that. We need 6 points from the next 3 games (Which will give us 27 points from 27 games). Anything less will give us too much to do IMO...

I see a bit of stability under Dyche but we've scored 2 goals in 4 games. That is why we're going down.
1 from open play, which lets be honest was a bit of weird one.

That’s the real issue at this club. We have no goal threat whatsoever. Every creative threat as been bombed out for subpar, substandard players

It’s an absolute nightmare
