Has anyone told Everton that the transfer window opens for a month, not just 24 hours?
Dyche said he was on the phone to agents on deadline day, WHY?
Every club in the country has a wish list to follow up on apart from us apparently.
Do we only compile our said list on January 31st?
We are so amateurish in everything we do, we are run like Old Etonians.

This club is 100% being driven into the ground by this inept board and particularly the chairman. KT has been effectively neutered and some of you don’t want to admit it because he’s a kopite. Was Brands one too? What’s the common theme here? The board. And Moshiri but not nearly to the extent as the chairman/BOD.

Moshiri is clearly the biggest issue at the club by an absolute mile, don’t know where you’re getting this idea from.

That's fair enough toff but they've still not printed a retraction or an apology.

Both them and Joe Thomas tried to bury it in their individual podcasts.

The club made them look like nobheads, we all know exactly who was responsible. Grow a set of bollocks and lay out exactly how Prenno set you up to slander the clubs fans with lies.

Trying to claim "Awww it's not our fault we rushed to print lies from the club and didn't bother fact checking" isn't good enough.

Absolute cowards.
There's nothing to 'retract' though.

The claims of the headlock have not been factually proven as false, which is the issue here. No matter how much you, I or other fans fully well know it was at the very least greatly exaggerated, none of us were actually there and so do not know for certain. Subsequent articles have made it clear it was from a 'club source', it doesn't say it was definitely true, whereas their first articles had no such caveat. Again, this is where editors have to be smarter. They should have made reference to those claims having not been supported by evidence. I think they made stupid mistakes there.

Yeah mate nobody cares that Thelwell supported Liverpool when he was younger. Everyone knows the board and owner are the main issues.

But our DoF is also so far proving to be absolutely hopeless.

Why do people think that this useless board and owner are hiring good DoFs?

Moshiri is because the decision to get rid of the chairman and CEO (the person who is running the business day to day while it underperforms) lies in his hands, and he won't make it.

The chairman is very much a massive issue because he has more involvement with the club on a regular basis than Moshiri, who every so often will come in out of the blue.

Ultimately though if Moshiri goes they all go.

I find it difficult to be that certain about it mate. He might be, but the other stuff makes it impossible to reach that conclusion with any reasonable degree of certainty IMO
He had the opportunity today to come and sit alongside Everton's new manager at his unveiling press conference.

He had the opportunity to front up.

He didn't take it.

So he's either got no inclination to speak to the fans, through the press or any other means, or he's not got the power to make the decision to do that if he wanted to.

Either option means he's wrong for the job, as he's either powerless to that tiny extent, or he's got no wish to speak to fans, which is pathetic.

We just have to totally sell the squad and buy young hungry players who don’t want £400k a minute
This really isn't our problem.

We have 2-3 players on £100k. That's it now. The rest have left the club, either temporarily or permanently.

We've got rubbish players. That's why we're rubbish. We've let quality go and replaced it with tosh. This is what happens.

We are so amateurish in everything we do, we are run like Old Etonians.

It is clear that there was no list because of lack of funds and the only signings we were going to make was Danjuma on loan.

It is clear there isn't any Plan B. It was more like "okay, once we have funds, we go for this player, that player" but by that time it was too late.

All we can do now as fans is to back the team to stay up.
Stay up and we have more than 40mil to spend and hopefully whoever is in charge do their job.

So why do we have no money and why doesn’t the tv revenue generate a profit?

This is what I’ve been getting at. Over the past 2 seasons, We have actually brought in around £30m more than we have spent on transfers.

If our wages are much more under control and we only have 3 big earners (I assume Mina, Doucoure and Pickford on 100k+), then why are our books expected to be totally screwed again this year?

Yeah, we have sacked 2 managers in that time, but that’s maybe 15/20m. Stadium doesn’t count towards FFP.

Surely at some point the books should be looking better?

Listened to some twitter space last night and there was a guy came on who was offering, well let's just say some 'constructive criticism' in regards to the protests and that. He was also talking a lot about Kenwright going back to the days of the BU and that and he is adamant that within the terms of sale that it was written in for Kenwright to stay on as chairman. Also he mentioned something about Amanda Stavely (this chap has had some business dealings with her) showing an interest years ago but again was put off by the fact that Kenwright and co were to remain in place and they wanted to appoint their own people. We are stuck with him for the moment I think.
