Add to that him saying our strikers are poor and no one will be able to score 10 goals this season.Positive Davey is his nickname.
 

Where is this defeatist attitude in his program notes? In those he's jolly as.. well as jolly as a scotsman can be at least. He's just playing up to the media, trust me.

He doesnt write the program notes...he says a few things and someone else writes it up adding the rest.

I think he has turned on the negative side in publics comments this year. His tactics are always negative. I think the two are adding up with the current frustration. If we had some investment and his off the filed comments were positive again I think the fans, Goodison, and the Team will be better.

Something has to change... LD was some positive push.. Maybe more to come?

New board, new investment, new manager?

One of the above has to happen. I would rather have the first two. I think we all are getting frustrated and trying to find where to point the blame on. I would rather point it at the board and not Moyes.( except his crappy negative substitutions )
 
i know if he came out and started bantered on about top 4 finishes he would be widely ridiculed but surely there must be middle ground and we aim higher than a relegation fight

in fairness though this season in particular he has been publicily downbeat....not good at all

We get to 40 points first. Then we see what is possible. What the hell is wrong with saying that at this stage, given that we've only got 20 points at the moment ? Massive over-reaction (again).

Osman scored against QPR. The select few were slating him against Norwich *. Some just need to moan about someone or something.

* calling him all the names under the sun its all there in the Vaults! I know who what where and how.

Yeah he was well going to come out and say "we're going to get into Europe" without knowing who'll bringing in in January!

And then the board don't allow anyone in, and we finish 8th. Yeah I can imagine how much "negativity" there would be then.
