If he is appointed let’s get behind him and give him a chance. I think Gordon hasn’t gone so as to give the new manager the final ok. So that could happen soon if the appointment is today. Then let’s see how we use the transfer fee.

Good luck to him, but this appointment reeks of a board that still thinks it isn't the problem.
The board has got its way here too. Moshiri wanted Bielsa. He'd have got him if Bielsa wasn't so principled.

I don't think either manager are actually the right choice.

This exactly. We're at our best when Goodison is a total bearpit. We don't do singing but we do horrible snarling arl arse behaviour and that's what makes it a difficult place to visit for opponents.

Any manager that can harness the power of 40,000 angry scousers every other week is onto a winner. Dyche is potentially a really good fit.

I think Bielsa would have been a better choice, not only for football reasons but also because of what that would have meant (a recognition that the club as a whole needed to change).

Of all the many things Moshiri has got wrong as an owner, none is greater than allowing the specialists in failure that are the board to continue. In seven years what one achievement do they actually have? He has just surrendered to them again with this.

I know this is from an outside perspective mate but i wish it was a guarantee.

Everton very much struggle to score goals so unless serious investment is made in the next week in that side of the squad then it's no guarantee.
I think he knows that scoring is a problem and he probably has a short list ready.
Your central core in defence and midfield are solid. Good keeper, good base to build from.
Everton have stayed up in recent seasons because of the home form. That is currently lacking but he will turn you into a side that will get that back.
Much more chance under Dyche than under Frank.
I do get all the negativity but in the situation that you are in now, today; Good Appointment.
