If my memories served me right, the banks in UK closed at 4. Maybe KT closing hours is 12:30 pm each day.
He's trying to get £10,000.000 out of the cash points. There where he's been all week, driving round England getting £250 out of every one he finds

I'm not overly worried about a team saying they're confident. Plenty of instances of teams, coaches, DoF, etc. saying they're confident someone is coming and it not happening.

Players picking Bournemouth over us now. Grim.
An ex Bournemouth payer going back. Not quite the same.

Anyway, we started off the window with everyone expecting season changing signings immediately. Our league position and turmoil mean that was always unlikely,, no matter how much the fans shout.

Typical Everton and maybe it’s harsh, but how many times do we take an age on transfers, first linked and now over 24hrs later nothing. I know you get leaks but You can’t wait around.

Obviously the links will now come from the club we weren’t in for him. We can happily go and get Elanga now ???
There have been stories about our interest in Danjuma and about fifty other players as well.

We really have no idea who our targets are.

The one I believe is Danny Ings on loan as it would a proven premiership goalscorer on a short term contract and I think that in time that may happen but not on such favourable terms from our point of view....... but that is just my feeling.

Everything else I choose not to believe without something tangible backing it up. If we signed every player were have been linked with i recent windows we would have a squad of about 250.

Strikes me that we wouldn't have put a loan bid in for Ings mate, if we hadn't already sounded out his agent and the lad was open to the move, suspect it will come down to Villas numbers and ours on value and feasibility.

But surely the point is he's a quality player available on a loan which suits our predicament and now he's going to a rival. If we were interested it's disappointing not to get it done, but even if we weren't interested why the hell not? There is not a queue of quality options available to us on loan, if we haven't been fighting for him what are they even doing?
