Make no sense to do that deal now...I am sure we have the option up until the end of the season. If the worst happens and we get relegated, Coady would be another player on high wage that we will need to shift if we execute the buy option this month.

Not withstanding some tactical failings last year - He united the fans back with the club which ultimately played the biggest part in us staying up.

We are halfway through the season and in the relegation zone now with no signs of - improvement, it’s not acceptable - it wouldn’t be for benitez, moyes, ancelotti, any other everton manager so it can’t be for Lampard.

Think we should be the way we played against City 5-4-1 without the ball and 5-3-2 with the ball.

Other than that I think we could play 4-4-2, like we did under Ancelotti though with 4 CB’s and all out defend counter attack style.

I think the theory is, Thelwell makes the signings and selects a short list of coaches whom he considers suitable to coach the players and system that Thelwell wants. That's the theory, but, Everton aren't we, so...who knows Matty.

Keane and Holgate haven’t been used all season so I would get rid of both.

They both have enough about them that we should be able to actually sell them and not just bloody loan them out.

Guess with Patterson injury we might keep Holgate as cover.

Thats how it should be so then evennif lamaprd did go it wod not change the players we bring in would be a new manager coming in that would fit the system here.
