But by this logic there would pretty much no players or managers left - there comes a point where you need to get behind the people you’ve got - and focus on reality
But by your logic, we need to be an expert in a certain field to be able to criticise.

Again, if someone builds you a wonky house are you going to be happy living in it, just because the bricklayer knows better than you do?

Well you would be a knob for going back again getting served up crap and paying for it.
Are you suggesting you would say that was rubbish, but I will be along next week to hopefully see an improvement ?
I’m saying whether the chef was or wasn’t hammered over time would make a difference to his confidence and as a result his performance

It’s a reinforcing cycle - the negativity can compound

The point is about confidence level rather than competence

Id agree. Esp with the level of what we have we cant be looking at any team home or away and think we can take the game to them.
I actually hate even typing that but the creativity and ability of this current mob is just not there.
Agree it’s horrible to think that’s how we need to set up. But need points and that’s the best chance of getting them. Especially with onana back. I would also go simms and dom up to and just go direct, due to the lack of creativity and win second balls higher up the pitch. Im no manager or tactical genius but honestly that’s how I see us getting points.

Problem is, who to replace him with. He was handed a dud defence and then had to sell his best forward. The defence is better (yesterday notwithstanding) and there's no money for a forward. Who would do any better (Dyche is not the answer)?

Like everyone, I'm totally unhappy with the situation on pitch and off it but at this moment is a sacking best option? It would leave us at start of transfer window with no manager and a dire need of solid recruitment, we also have to pay severance unless the behind the scenes team have had an epiphany and got his contract nailed down based on results, therefore once again impacting FFP potentially, hire and fire is linked with failure, yes we are looking doomed at present but do we accelerate that with more of the same philosophy?

I really dont know what the answer is and it is heart-breaking from a football perspective to see this with our Club, the overall situation needs a full Board removal and a new business model and philosophy put in place but that isnt gonna happen either overnight or because Frank is removed.

Im not advocating either way just highlighting pitfalls as I'm just a clueless fan in all honesty but I cant see it ending well for us the fans, any time soon with current leadership at the top.

Its just very saddening to see such a demise.
