Saha says what we are all thinking..

With what competition for his place?

He's never had to play in the reserves previously and he had minutes under his belt.

Sahas lazy, Yaks lazy, Beckford lazy according to Moyes, the only ones not lazy were bent and Johnson.. .see the difference in class?

Add to to the fact Moyes puts him down saying we don't have the firepower and a goalscorer does lots for a strikers confidence

He missed a large part of pre season and was asked to play in the reserves to build up match practice which he refused obviously thinking he is too good for reserve football which is extremely unprofessional. I'd rather have Bent or Johnson right now, they both suit our formation better and would at least put defenders under pressure and run the channels. Saha on his day is far superior than Bent or Johnson but how many of them days do we see? As i said in my previous post he's a 1 in 20 game player and im sick of seeing him with no movement and outside of the box. It seems like he sometimes doesn't want to score but i could say that with nearly the whole team.

I dont think we are looking for Saha - I think we are looking for a big Dunc. I had actually hoped the Straq might turn out better than he has so far. I dont know how many players have the physicality to play alone up front - but Moyes isnt changing tactics and the rest of the team aren't changing their spots either so the easiest and cheapest route is to buy a new big Dunc. Its no use bringing in another Vellios who neeeds a couple of seasons to get used to the prem as we will be down by then. So the choices are limited. In terms of money any bank or business man would see that if we dont do this our time in the prem and our ability to pay back our existing debts are limited.

In the last game against Arsenal, I really noticed that he stopped making certain runs. A lot of them were just pointless balls, but there were a few that I thought he would run up and get and if he had either he would have been on goal, or he could have put someone in on goal.

None the less, I don't think statements like this are going to improve team morale or the supporters outlook on things at the moment.

He played against Villareal, Bremen, QPR and Sheff Utd...as stated when it happened, he's had worse injuries and had little game time and started straight back into the squad from fitness with a bigger squad with competition for places with Cahill, Anichebe, Yakubu and Beckford.

Add to his injury record, playing him in the reserves which he's never done, was a flat out bad idea so he was right to say no IMO because he's better than reserve football. Cahill never plays in the reserves. All the first team squad dont or ever had. It was an odd one and surely has soured his relationship with Moyes IMO.

But all that's beside the point. Its his last season for us and he's not putting a shift in. Says to me a lot.

And Andy Johnson got sick and tired of running to the corner flag every two seconds.

You are off your rocker if you think Beckford was in a different class to johnson. Unbelievable statement.

Come on, like Id say that?

Talking about Saha and Yak being lazy compared to Bent or Johnson, but which are the better finishers...I mentioned Beckford as being classed as lazy is all. Worded it wrong I guess

Sick of hearing about how we have no money being the reason we are so ****e. We are ****e because the players CBA. After reading that Levante comparison I'm not having it anymore.

This is exactly how I feel.

I read that Levante thing, and it can be applied to us perfectly. And I liked the Xavi Torres not playing against Malaga, fantastic little story that.

Every time I see comments like Saha's here, from him, Moyes, Jagielka, or anyone else, I become more and more frustrated, everyone is complaining and adopting a woe-is-me attitude instead of just growing a pair and getting on with it and doing what they're paid (very handsomely) to do.

When you get to the point in your life where someone the same age as you is now the old man in the side... yeah I know, shaddap Grandad.

Am I right in thinking that it's no coincidence that Ross leaves and we hear Jags, Saha and probably a few to come, have a little dig at the board?
