Who should replace Frank Lampard?

Unfortunately the good managers are people sane enough not to want the job and any managers that are interested are likely to be delusional, chancers or in the managerial last chance saloon. If I were a football manager I wouldn’t touch us with a barge pole - these managers are well off financially - not sure I would want to be the manager who got the longest serving top flight team relegated for the first time in 70 years. That’s why I think it will be Ferguson as a short term appointment
A proper good manager, not a superstar, but a good solid manager, would fancy himself at us. There are some out there. I actually think Dyche is one of them but I would fear that his card is already marked by some of our fans.

The ideal appointment would be some boss manager that nobody has ever heard of, which is pretty uncommon of course.

i vote me if not boss manager we won’t get

We need to view this long term. The next 6 months don't actually matter. If we go down we can still save ourselves by coming back up and being good enough to ensure it doesn't happen again. If we stay up we need to get playing real football so we can move away from the drop. Either way the answer is to find someone who is going to build the team brick by brick into an actual functioning side. Someone who is going to have a plan for the players here now and then once he's got a grasp on what a we need a plan that he can work on with Thelwell on what to buy to make it all come together. Turning this around is a multi-year job no matter how this season finishes so we need to act like it.
Going down will finish us financially.

I'm gonna get laughed at, and tbh rightly so, but I want Bielsa.

I don't really get the shout for Dyche. He has no track record of working with players like our big time Charlie's. I doubt our players would buy into him at all and I just don't see how he would motivate them.

All the above says more about our players and the poor culture that we seem to have in the dressing room that it does about Dyche, unfortunately.
Bar Big Sam and to a degree Moyes, Dyche different to what we’ve had before a hard talking and a manager I dont believe would take any ? so I’d be happy to give him a chance, if nothing else he has great experience fighting relegation. I’m not say he’s the answer long term but it just could click, it certainly wouldn’t be a terrible appointment at this moment in time, also the likes of Poch would want money to spend I think Dyche would except to more or less work with what he has. I th i he would be a good fit for us atm, we do need to try a different approach we’ve had up and coming managers, Hollywood Manager experienced managers and it just hasn’t worked.
