Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I have only cooked turkey once ,we given it as a present after no one in the church wanted it so it was in the New Year .We had a party coming up and chose the turkey as the main course .I used sausage meat ,walnuts ,cranberry and black pudding for the stuffing if I remember ,I also did it French style by cooking it in the oven over a water bath ( tray full of boiling water ) .It truly was the moistest I have eaten and the only reason we don't do it now is because there are only two of us . Your's however looks a stage further than the one I did and I suppose it woudn't travel too well if I asked for a sample !
Black pudding?. I am sensing a certain qperson's influence here.?

Merry Christmas all on here and thank you for the smiles and tears you have all given me in the last year .I hope all have a merry time over the holiday and those who believe enjoy visiting the church and singing carols ,I hope all those who live alone realise that we are family and share their Chrismas with us even if they don't celebrate it.
I wish you all the very best for the New Year and hope we can all remain on here for the next year ,great to see some absentees are back and looking forward to welcoming more new posters .
One last word for Karl ,without his suffering we would not have this ,something I hold very dear would not have happened, so I would like to raise a glass to Karl ,the person I admire most of all . It is not often as you get older that something means so much that it changes you as a person but that I feel has happened to me .RIP Karl .
Hear hear. Cheers Karl.

Merry Christmas to all my friends on this wonderful thread. Thank you all for being there when I've needed you most. You really are a special bunch.

And an extra special mention to the loved ones who are no longer with us. Forever in our hearts and our thoughts, but moreso at this time of year.

Cheers everybody. Hope you all have an enjoyable day, eat and drink loads, and be happy.

I'm exhausted just reading that mate.

I'm thinking of going straight to number 11.

Have a good one blue.

I see Wednesday Addams has totally taken over the Internet. Not like an old fart like me to be ahead of the curve on such things.

Here's a post from 3 weeks ago in the TV series thread.
Watching a lot of German series at the moment. Half way through first series of Der Pass and really enjoying it. Wednesday is probably my favourite show currently. Is it OK to have a granddad crush on Wednesday Addams?. Asking for a friend.
If you haven't watched the series (on Netflix) I highly recommend. It's ostensibly a kids program but is good fun. ;)
