Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I'm the same with TV mate. Take ages to choose things to watch sometimes. What PC games did you get?
I bought -

Dwarf Fortress
Greedfall
Fellseal Arbiters mark
Kynseed
Deep Rock Galactic

Bought on sale or CDKEYS.com otherwise would have cost a fortune, I bought Dwarf Fortress full price because there's already almost 20years of development gone into it. they've just added graphics now and put it on steam, I've wanted it for ages but the interface put me right off before this version.

Morning all, bright and sunny here. Off to deliver a birthday present this morning to a friend who lives about 20 miles away so it’s a good morning for a drive. May pop into town this afternoon as Mr G’s bus pass finally arrived. Gave council another call as should have arrived despite postal strike which was the original excuse, very sorry etc. but there had been a glitch in the system in other words they’d forgotten to do it. Did you finally get past the menus @Terrarian ? How did the present shopping go @jazzy? Enjoy the film @anjelikaferrett and have a good day, all.?
No went walking instead so I'm at that stage now lol lol ffs

I'm binge watching Masterchef Australia it's been my goto morning program.

Pleased you are starting to feel better. Hope Daisy Beagle is keeping you right. My friend's beagle Marty ate two whole
Cadbury advent calendars. No ill effects from the chocolate but puked up all the foil wrapping! He also worked out a way to make them fall flat on the kitchen counter ( they were pushed to the back and stood upright) so he could get them.
Little buggers around food, just had to stop Daisy pinching a baked good from a toddlers hand lol swines.

Daisy is a godsend at the minute, don't know what shape I'd be in without her, the responsibility to meet her needs keeps me going.

I should multi quote really

Wow. Dogs are supposed to get really I'll from eating chocolate but I remember about 30 years ago we were fostering a rescue pup who had been badly abused and beaten in Kirkby. He was terribly sick and also suffering from Parvo. He was dreadfully thin and refused to eat anything and to be honest we thought he didn't have long left. Then one day he got into the lounge and ate a full box of chocolates. He never looked back. Of course we kept him and called him Thornton. Lovely crazy dog he was x

Morning all. It's very mild here and not raining. Off to Darlington today to the pictures and a few last minute gifts. I'm a bit concerned that Mr F's main presents have not arrived. I ordered some stuff for him from the Injured Jockeys Fund. Hopefully it will still get here in time.
Food ( and beer) shopping tomorrow.
I've been thinking that I am so blessed. It actually popped into my head while I was watching the World Cup Final. No idea why it was that moment. However the heating was on, the Christmas tree lights were all on, our tea was cooking to eat after the match. There are so many who do not have that.

Have a good day folks. I'll let you know what Avatar is like.

They're tough little things dogs aren't they, love them me. Also Daisy has a cast iron stomach the amount of rubbish she eats off the floor lol

DIL is a teacher so gets lots of chocolates from her class every Christmas. Their old cavalier managed to unwrap several parcels, ate the Thornton’s and left the cheaper boxes.

FFS my traditional Xmas chocolate bingeing has started already. Dreading to think how much I'm going to weigh in the 1st week of Jan. There is literally chocolate everywhere it's impossible not to eat it
Surrounded by chocolate but unable to eat it as it brings on my migraines. I just get to watch Mr G scoff it. He’s just munched his way through a large bar of Cadbury Mint Crisp so I’ve hidden the tubs of Celebrations etc. lol

God I get back to England tomorrow and then it's into the celebrations and quality street and mince pies straight away.
