Yes that guy would likely form part of a consortium.

It is a bit of a warning though, when people talk of like a Saudi/Qatar takeover of Liverpool. Theres a big difference between a wealthy individuals, and the sovereign arm of their governments buying a club.
Not really, most of the time those people are the Goverment or part of the family.

You really think they let random people acquire wealth over there?

I did laugh at the red echo claiming they "understand" he's not in Qatar on business and is solely attending to see the operation of the stadiums and to watch Pickford/Coady
lol

Personally think there is too much chatter around in recent months to suggest he isn't speaking to groups and whilst I don't think he'll outright sell the club I think he would potentially be open to a group buying a majority stake.

Similiar to Newcastle in which PIF own 80% with the Reuben Brothers and Staverleys cronies owning the other 20%

Yes that's ridiculous from them as usual. He will be in Qatar, meeting potentially interested parties. How firm that interest is is anyones guess.

It's like if someone putting a dress on Ebay, and the Echo writing they're not putting it in Ebay to sell it.

I heard a few days back from a friend in the know that Moshiri was in Qatar negotiating a sale (I live in Doha). I posted a comment on here a few days back but felt guilty about leaking it, so I deleted it within minutes.

The stories that followed just backed that up. He's not here to look at stadiums and visit Pickford.

Thanks for posting your comments. Do you think Moshiri will find a buyer in Qatar then?

Nice one mate, let's hope for good news soon

Why? Were Big Saudi oil not aware of Big UAE oil at City when they bought Newcastle?

Everton are the last blue chip English club available to buy. If you dont think big oil and sovereign wealth funds and Yank billionaires aren't looking at what's going on at Everton right now you need your head feeling.
Moshiri is clearly in Quatar to hawk his assett to the Oilers.
Me a Moroccon billionaire, with £50billion minimum would be more attractive.
Sign all 22, the manager , get them in Blue.
On a serious note, we are in the crap, Moshiri knows it, hes going to jump ship.
But hes their to meet Bobby Brown shoes to.
God help us, him if he comes through the door.
Its scary where we are.

Points and plenty in Dec, Jan is a solution.
Wolves,Southampton,West Ham, Brighton. If we get nowt, three from these we are pretty doomed.
If other results go against us.

A good businessman will wait, see us relagated, take a punt half price.
Huge budget get us straight back up.

Moshiri is in trouble , relegation he loses half our value.£850million i think.

Championship price £500million.Perfect senario for a buyer.

Moshiri has to find a way of keeping us up.
Forwards top class.A Griesmann type midfielder.Ther cost.
