Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Well the missus is home safe and sound and no surgery needed .Tey put her to sleep and manipulated the ankle to make sure ,we are both chuffed as it would have meant her being immobile for a while .She is still managing to order me around a fair bit ,so I am pleased it won't be full blown slave mode .
That’s good news about not needing surgery. In the meantime though, just keep biting your tongue, follow your instructions and no one gets hurt.

:hayee:

Great news but do as you’re told - you know it makes sense. lol

Saw eldest and GF today, last time before they chip off to NZ for 2 years. Went to Mums/Grandma new place, then the 3 of us to the Kicker for a few. Had a lovely few hours, then GF disappeared so Eldest and me could have a farewell.

It was very emotional for me, which was a total surprise to me, tears in me eyes as I told him "look after her, and I have never been prouder of you".

They fly to Wellington at the end of the month, got accomodation/mate there for 2 weeks, (bank accounts, car etc etc etc), then travelling for a month, up to Auckland @Dylan again to stay with an Uncle, then jobs in the new year. Plan A anyrate.
Aww good luck to them. Of course it would be emotional for you. He's your firstborn. However what every parent wants is the best for their children and to give them the confidence to follow their dreams. You've done good Dad!

A belated hello and good afternoon.Off to the hospital for 7am this morning so no chance to post .The wife's appointment was seven and by 5 to they had booked her in after that all downhill ,they said she would be tested for sideways movement in the ankle to see if it needed an op but they changed her into a gown and left us waiting for over an hour then the nurse came over and said that because of the snow there had been accidents and they were the priority so it would be late afternoon before they see her in the theatre .
She is not best pleased , I came home an hour ago and will go back when she says . It is surprisingly boring just sitting we ask for a rest most days but when it arrives we get bored !
Have a great day all.
Hope you and Mrs Blue got sorted and she hasn't needed an op

Hey chaps. Been a very long time. I admit work pressure makes me very reclusive and not particularly chatty…
But as my mom came to visit from the UK we took her up country to a game farm called Mashatu and got to turn off for a bit… here’s probably my favourite pic of the lot.. mom and her cubs.. got to see some leopards .. um… breeding?? But I respect their privacy to not share the pic.

Hope you all good… and those struggling are on the mend!
Hello, lovely to hear from you. Fabulous pics

Hi guys , hope you don't mind me posting this but it was a very sombre day at work yesterday once the news got round of our friend's untimely and sudden passing. Even working from home you could feel how sad people were. He was a force of nature, larger than life, referred to me affectionately as Trotsky and I'm sad I will no longer hearr his Yorkshire tones joining a video meeting with words ' Ey up, the eye candy's here'

This is my best memory of him. It is also legendary in our workplace

He was the instigator of Donny and Marie coming to live with us. He told me a sad story about two abandoned lambs that just needed a nice home and before you know it they were in our back garden, eating hay and writing their memoirs. ( I created their own Facebook page for them)

One day I noticed a lump on Donny's tummy. I was concerned. It looked like a large blackberry. Donny seemed unconcerned and let me touch it. I took a picture of it and sent it to Chris, who by this time was a Grade 7, with a message ' Should I be worried' No reply.

Arrive in work the next morning. I'm summoned to his desk. He was almost paralysed with mirth. He wiped the tears from his eyes and managed to articulate the words ' It's his cock you daft cow!' Still almost crying with laughter he showed the picture to our Grade 6 sitting next to him. Her reaction, because she was from a farming family, was similar - howls of laughter. Shortly after I had returned to my desk our big boss comes to see me. OMG, Angela,
Chris has just told me about the sheep. Ive never laughed so much. It was only later that I realised that I had sent my first ( and to date only) d*ck pic, of a sheep, to a Grade 7, in work!
He never let me forget it.

Sounds like an absolute legend! Will be sorely missed by everyone he met no doubt!
