Remember the time when a striker was the easiest position in the team to pick up?, now it's the hardest seems like most teams from across the 4 leagues are missing a decent one. You could pick them up from non league and they could still score at top level.Don't happen now which I suppose is down to fitness and a more continental style of play.

Certainly seems that way. The fact is if there was a good striker available with a track record of 15+ goals a season dozens of clubs would be after him. For a club like us we will have to take a punt on someone.

When was the last time we made the right attacking signing at the right time? When was last time we signed a proper goalscorer.

Our recruitment is an utter embarrassment. I wouldn't have even the slightest bit of faith in this club getting it right

We are a gutless side. We have been for years. All the chances we had to go top back in the Silva days and we fluffed it.

We’ll get our hopes up of winning on the south coast despite a woeful record. We will lose when majority of the players don’t show up and iwobi misses a sitter. This is despite taking a full travelling contingent of fans.

The World Cup will drag on whilst we sit here worrying about relegation.
