There are more average teams than usual this season. But the worst teams are also better than in previous years. This is going to stay tight till well into the spring.

We need to keep taking it game by game and get more points on the board by the WC.
Agree still good point from today thats what it is about not getting beat in away games. Winning at homw

A proper forward in this team and we'd be top 8.

It's a terrible league but if you have no forward to get you goals you'll struggle.
We are strong enough to muddle to mid table this season but do expect both Gordon and DCL to be cashed in for a more consistent front line.

*Edit build a team around DCL if can stay fit.

For me Gordon needs a striker who can take on the responsibility to pull defenders away and allow him to do a lot more on the ball.

No way should we be letting Gordon go.

Let's see what happens in January if they bring a new striker in.

Last season him and Richarlison were running opponents ragged in all the key games we won to get safe.

This feller Dominic Calvert-Lewin is atrocious. He's as bad as they get.
Two more attacking players in and we are in Europe. The job done by Lampard is notable. We are hard to beat now.

We will struggle to get a 9 as good as DCL and that is why it will be Gordon sacrificed first.

What did gordon do last season yes worked hard was not even close to richarlisons level. Dom did not have a good game this week but against palace was great. Held the ball up linked the play and his goal. Do agree that we need antoher striker who can work the line, but i see us needing a quality wide player none we have at the club can step up enough. I am just not sold on gordon just see him as a similar player to gray
