West Ham, Villa and Leicester all have too much quality for me. Wolves, Saints, Bournemouth, Forest and Leeds are our rivals. Worth keeping an eye on Brentford, Brighton and Palace who could struggle if they pick up an injury or 2
Brighton have been sliding down the table since Potter left. Still think they’ll be comfortably mid-table but a Trossard injury could really hurt them

If we can win all of our league fixtures between now and the World Cup then I'll feel a bit less anxious, but I'm not sure that will happen

They are "winnable" games, but we're also Everton, so, you know...
It would be a hard ask to win the next three, making four wins in a row. Unlikely, but not impossible. If we got two win Sou of the next three, I would be delighted.

To be honest we gotta win this. The awful start to the season will be compounded if we go into 2023 within a game or two of being in the relegation zone, which we will be without a win tomorrow.

Would snap your hand off for 5 or 6 points from 9 right now.

If you win 3 of 4 at some point during the season then it's unlikely you are in trouble come May.

We can win them all, but I don't think 4 consecutive wins is that realistic for us right now. We don't need to win all 4 either.

We’ve got 3 league games and the cup game, if we win 2 out of the 3 league games I would be delighted. The cup game would be nice, but not as important as getting points in the league, for me.

Fulham away, Leicester home, Bournemouth away. I'll be devastated if we pick up fewer than seven points from that. Man for man, better than all of those sides in defence and midfield, and can match them up front so long as Calvin and the wingers put in a good shift.

At the end of the day, Lampard alongside Thelwell signed off on bringing in Dwight McNeil over getting a striker we badly, badly needed.

He willingly went into the season relying solely on an injury prone Dominic Calvert-Lewin to somehow stay fit and score not only a decent number of goals, but also an additional 10/15 to replace what we lost in Richarlison.

I've never seen such a meek and, to be honest, pathetic attempt to put pressure on the board to get him the striker he needed in the summer. The furthest Lampard was prepared to go was to say "everybody knows the positions we need strengthening in".

If he had a bit more about him he'd have told the truth and said we almost went down with Richarlison available, and if we don't adaquately replace him we'll be staring down the barrel this season.

Most other managers, knowing a relegation battle is almost a certainty unless they got a replacement in, would have been shouting it from the rooftops.

So back to my first paragraph; Lampard signed off on this and is all also very much to blame for the upcoming fight against relegation.
I bet you choked on your cornflakes when you saw we beat Leeds.

There are some proper pooper putters here but oh my Lord you are one.
