2/9/21 match v ManU the starting lineup for EFC: Robin Olsen, Ben Godfrey, Michael Keane, Lucas Digne, Mason Holgate, Tom Davies, James Rodriguez, Richarlison, Andre Gomes, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin with subs Alex Iwobi, (man not mentioned), and Joshua King.

Twenty months later, quite the turnover. Half of those men are no longer with the club and only one remaining (Iwobi) seems assured of starting. Difficult to imagine anyone back then would have believed he would be that man in tomorrow's match.

Good point there. I find it quite staggering the difference from just over 12 months ago. What we have now is such a different team from a year ago.

not to be too pedantic but that’s an american date system and the poster is referring to February 2021 under Ancelotti

That was the 3-3 Old Trafford game wasn't it? Very good comeback with last minute goal at a time when finishing top 6 was very realistic. Hopefully in similar situation in another 18 months.

Done alright v them home and away in recent times and have to feel good with a fired up Goodison and defensively being sound in last month.

1-1.

In the papers today the players are telling the striker what to expect from the two centre backs. The manager is talking about the crowd and the need to toughen up,when is the last time were Man United scared to come to Goodison. If the crowd turn up and the players play to the best of there abilities it can only be a win,i bet they would take a draw now.
