Tickets4Toffees returns

An initiative that sent around 170 Evertonians to Goodison Park during the 2019/20 season has returned as one true Blue has given up his seats at the Old Lady for the rest of the current campaign.

With COVID-19 seeing a temporary suspension to football and then a restart which prohibited supporters in the stadium, Colin Morris is again looking to ensure that fans, many of whom were able to attend Goodison for the very first time, thanks to Tickets4Toffees. Pledging his two seats at the very least for this season’s remaining home league fixtures, a fundraiser is also in full swing to secure additional seats, and is already enabling a young fan being able to cheer on his beloved Blues for the fourth round FA Cup tie against Brentford in February.

And Colin will be hoping that the young man in question can enjoy a day similar to what he experienced during his first game, which just happened to be a 7-1 demolition of Southampton.

“I remember feeling like I was walking on air,” he said. “The whole experience, the excitement and, of course, the performance!

“I completely fell in love with the place. Few things in my life have rivalled what I experienced that day.

“It has not always been easy supporting Everton and not everyone will be lucky enough to see an eight-goal thriller in their first game,” continued Colin. “But you never forget your first game and I want to help as many Blues, young and old, experience that through Tickets4Toffees.”

Everton’s next league fixture at Goodison will see Leeds United visit in February. And two tickets have been donated to the Rainbow Toffees, the Blue’s official LGBTQ+ supporters club.

“The Rainbow Toffees is a wonderful group that is a great reminder that football is for everyone.” Said Colin. “Football is a game for everyone and Tickets4Toffees is proud to stand should to shoulder with the LGBTQ+ community.

“We will try and get a few unsung heroes, volunteers, NHS staff to games, this season. I am always looking at local charities and organisations, plus we get two nominations for every game that are sent in by Blues, for Blues.

“The past few years has been hard for many, and the country has been heavily reliant on a few, so it is great to give something back.
